PMC Poll: Overwhelming majority support making misogyny a hate crime

Positive Media Communications (PMC) conducted a poll on Twitter, asking whether Pakistan should make misogyny a hate crime and an overwhelming majority replied in the affirmative.

The poll was conducted on Twitter on September 12 by PMC and after one day, 86.2% of the respondents said Pakistan should make misogyny a hate crime while 13.8% replied in the negative.

The debate has been raging on social media after the Lahore motorway rape case — when a mother of three children was gang-raped by two persons in front of her kids.
