Justice For Noor Mukadam: Pakistani women demand Zahir Jaffer’s stern punishment
Pakistani women across the country Friday demanded an end to the cycle of violence and misogyny against women, calling on authorities to ensure Zahir Jaffer, the murdered of Noor Mukadam, be punished severely for his crime.
Zahir Jaffer has been accused of murdering Noor Mukaddam, a daughter of a former Pakistani diplomat. The grisly murder triggered angry reactions from Pakistani social media users, mostly women, as they raised questions on how unsafe women are in this country.
We need a system efficient, transparent, fair and speedy enough to be able to deliver justice to the victims even without any social media campaigns. That is the kind of Pakistan I want. ‘A system that reacts before social media does’ is what our goal should be. #JusticeForNoor

The murderer & his parents, who will use all their resources, wealth & influence to get their murdering son to evade the law, and will then try to get their murdering son released from jail ASAP, and will then send their murdering son abroad.
DONT LET THEM! #JusticeForNoor pic.twitter.com/ZcU5DzcF1w

No amount of privilege can change the fact that your son is a murderer. Share their faces instead of victim bcz these people are humanising and linking murder to psychological issues.?#ZahirJaffer #NoorMukaddam #JusticeForNoor pic.twitter.com/VRoyZG1ESD

Can’t believe the amount of women that are murdered in Pakistan by men, most of these murders aren’t even reported. That country still has a long way to go because women will never be safe and men will always get away with it. #JusticeForNoor pic.twitter.com/4m3LKn6foF
