Zabiullah Mujahid appreciates PM Imran Khan’s role in Afghanistan crisis

Zabiullah Mujahid, the Taliban spokesperson and Deputy Minister for Information and Culture Tuesday thanked Prime Minister Imran Khan for playing a constructive role in the Afghanistan peace efforts.

The minister was addressing a news conference in Kabul where he was speaking to the Afghan media. Mujahid said that it was unfair of the world to criticise the Taliban for alleged violation of human and women’s rights.

He urged countries to adopt a responsible manner and reconigse the Taliban government in the country, adding that were they to do so, the Taliban will then work towards resolving their issues.

Zabiullah Mujahid said Pakistan was not interfering in Afghanistan’s internal matters. He said that the Taliban will not let any country in the world influence its internal matters, adding that the country will welcome and accept cooperation from the world.

Zabiullah Mujahid also spoke about the Daesh group, adding that the people of Afghanistan hated the banned outfit. He said that the Taliban knew of the way Daesh operated across the country, adding that the Taliban knew how to fail them technically.
