Mawra Hocane and Ameer Gilani are married
Pakistani actress Mawra Hocane made a surprise announcement that she has married actor-singer Ameer Gilani, making it one of the biggest celebrity weddings of 2025.
There had been rumours about their relationship but they never addressed those claims and often referred to each other as friends. Both have shared the screen in drama Neem (2023) and Sabaat (2020).
Hocane made it official by sharing a stunning photo of the couple in wedding attire at Lahore Fort in a social media post captioned, “and in the middle of chaos… I found you” followed by the wedding date and “Bismillah” (In the name of Allah) and the creative hashtag #MawraAmeerHoGayi.

Hocane dressed in sky-blue lehenga with a matching short blouse and elegant lehenga in mellow gold with subtle tinges of baby pink. Gilani donned a charcoal-colored shalwar kameez, complemented with a dark-hued button-up waistcoat and a smooth-textured woolen shawl.
Fans and followers flooded their wedding post with love and well-wishes, with many of their celebrity friends congratulating them and show their love for the couple.
Mawra’s sister, Urwa, and her brother-in-law, Farhan Saeed, led the congratulatory parade to celebrate the happy couple.
