Politician and TV personality Dr Aamir Liaquat on Wednesday apologised for an insensitive tweet that hurt the sentiments of the Hindu community.
A few days ago, the PTI MNA had taken to Twitter and posted a tweet that was aimed as a jibe at Maryam Nawaz but hurt the sentiments of the Hindu community (tweet cannot be attached here in respect of the sentiments of the Hindu community).
Following the tweet, Twitter lashed out at the PTI MNA, asking PM Imran Khan to take action against him. In a tweet, Liaquat said he apologised for unintentionally hurting the sentiments of the Hindu community.
