Punjab Central batsman Abdullah Shafique became the first Pakistani batsman and only the second in the world to make a huge record on Wednesday when he smashed an unbeaten century against Punjab Southern in the National T20 Cup.
Abdullah scored an unbeaten 102 runs from 55 balls which makes him the first Pakistani to make a century on T20 and first-class debuts.
The stellar knock helped Punjab Central beat Punjab Southern by 7 wickets in their opening clash at the cup. It also helped him notch a Player of the Match award.

Born on November 20, 1999 in Sialkot, Shafique is a right-handed batsman who has played for a plethora of teams in just a few years that include the Pakistan Under-19s, Punjab Under-19s, Sialkot, Sialkot Under-16s, Federal Areas, Sialkot Region, Sialkot Under-19s, Central Punjab, Sialkot Region Under 19s, Multan Sultans.
Last year, Shafique made headlines when he smashed a century on debut against Southern Punjab while representing Central Punjab.
A right-handed batsman, he also can also bowl right arm leg break spin.
