Amitabh Bachchan, son Abhishek test positive for COVID-19

Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan and his son, Abhishek, have both tested positive for the novel coronavirus, the legendary Bollywood actor tweeted about it on Saturday.

According to a tweet by the Bollywood veteran, he tested positive for the virus and has been shifted to a hospital. In his tweet, Amitabh urged others who were in contact with him since the last 10 days to get themselves tested for COVID-19 as well

“I have tested CoviD positive .. shifted to Hospital .. hospital informing authorities .. family and staff undergone tests , results awaited .. All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested!” he tweeted.

Meanwhile, Abhishek announced on Instagram that fans need not panic but stay calm as both the father -son duo were experiencing mild symptoms of the virus. He revealed that Amitabh and Abhishek were currently admitted to Mumbai’s Nanavati Super Speciality Hospital.
