Assefa Bhutto, the youngest daughter of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, made her maiden speech at an antif-government rally of opposition parties in Multan on Monday.
“The people have decided to send the rulers packing,” roared Ms Bhutto, in her short speech from Multan’s Ghanta Ghar, where she was warmly greeted by thousands of PPP workers.
“We will carry on the mission of Bibi Shaheed. Despite the tyranny of the selected, so many workers have gathered here today,” she said.
“The people have now made the final decision that the selected will have to go. We will fulfill the mission of Shaheed Bhutto by serving the people.”

“We are not afraid of arrests,” she challenged the rulers. “If the brothers are arrested, then every woman in the PPP is ready to struggle.”
The PPP leader also pledged that she would always stand by the people and PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in their struggle for the removal of the selected (Imran Khan).
