Ayesha Omar, Mahira Khan want domestic violence bill passed as GBV cases rise
Actresses Ayesha Omar and Mahira Khan have requested Prime Minister Imran Khan to pass the domestic violence bill and implement it as soon as possible, given the rise of cases of gender-based violence in Pakistan.

With the rising violence and rape cases, notbales from the entertainment industry raised its voices against culprits. They have demanded justice for victims and want the culprits to be punished severely.
After Noor Mukadam’s murder case, other rape, murder, and domestic violence cases were reported from all over the country.
Pakistan has seen an alarming increase in cases of gender-based violence, murder, rape, sexual violence and discrimination against women.
