Pakistani batsman Babar Azam is just one rank shy of becoming the best ODI batsman in the world, according to the latest ODI batsmen rankings issued by the International Cricket Council.
Cricket statistician Mazher Arshad took to the micro-blogging site to share that in the upcoming Pakistan vs South Africa cricket series, Babar Azam will have a chance to take over Kohli and become the number one batsman in the world.
“Babar Azam (837 rating points) is now the second best batsman in ICC ODI Rankings and will have an opportunity to get close to, or even beat, the number one ranked Virat Kohli (868 points) in the upcoming series against South Africa,” tweeted Arshad.
