Pop Megastar Beyoncé announced a music tour for her new album Renaissance on Wednesday. The concerts are set for May and June in Europe and July to September in the United States and Canada.

The tour announcement came a few days before the Grammy Awards where the singer has been nominated for nine awards, making her the most nominated artist. Rumours are rife that the singer may also perform at the ceremony alongside her husband Jay-Z.

The tour will start on 10th May in Sweden before landing in Cardiff, England a week later. The UK concerts will be held in Edinburgh on 20 May, Sunderland on 23 May and London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on 29 and 30 May. The singer wrote her seventh solo album during the 2020 pandemic as “a place to dream and to find escape.”

The last time Beyoncé toured was in 2018 along with her husband Jay-Z. This announcement has resulted in a high demand of the tickets as the fans are eager to their favourite singer perform live in front them.

On Thursday, a day after the announcement of the Renaissance World Tour 2023, the megastar announced that additional dates have been added to the tour due to high demand. Additional shows have been added in Toronto on July 9, Chicago on July 23, East Rutherford on July 30, Washington, DC on August 6, Atlanta on August 12, Los Angeles on September 3 and Houston on September 24.
