Cricketer Rashid Khan pleads world not to leave Afghanistan in chaos

Afghanistan cricketer Rashid Khan took to Twitter to ask the world for support as the Taliban has once again taken over Afghanistan.

Rashid Khan has urged the world leaders and countries to not leave Afghanistan in chaos as the country has already suffered a lot in the past. He stated that innocents were getting killed, homes were getting destroyed and thousands of families were getting displaced. He urged the world leaders to not leave the country in this condition.

The battle between Taliban and Afghan forces has intensified as US troops leave the war-broke country. The troops are being instructed to leave the country latest by 31st August

Further, India, France, US have asked their nationals to leave the country as soon as possible.

The Taliban have now made their way to the urban cities of Afghanistan, taking over six provincial capitals now. The cities of Aybak and Sar-e-Pol with three other provincial capitals are now fully under Taliban control: Zaranj, the capital of western Nimruz province; the city of Sheberghan, the capital of northern Zawzjan province; and Taleqan, the capital of another northern province with the same name.

The Afghan forces have burnt down houses, killed civilians, children have been kidnapped and women have been raped. the country has been facing hunger problems as well due to a shortage of items or the fact that people cannot leave the house due to the fear of getting misplaced or killed.

Many families have been displaced, missing, or fled the country with no whereabouts. The Afghan-Pakistan board Spin Boldak was captured and closed by the Taliban last month has not been recovered yet by Pakistan as well. Pakistan also urged the Taliban to take a look at the negotiations but they refused as they got more ground.
