Dir car explosion: Five killed, several injured

At least five people were killed and several others injured on Sunday when an explosion hit the Gamadand area, local authorities confirmed.

According to the district police officer (DPO), Mian Naseeb Jan, the bomb was planted in a car.

Among those who were injured were also three police officers. All victims were shifted to a hospital in the vicinity.

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Information Minister Shaukat Yousafzai confirmed that five people killed in the blast.
