England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and Cricket Australia (CA) officials will visit Pakistan in September and October, 2019, according to the PCB.
A press release from the cricket board disclosed that the 55th PCB Board og Governors (BoG) meeting held on Friday discussed the upcoming trip of the officials.
PCB Chairman Ehsan Mani revealed that Cricket Australia Chairman Earl Edings and Chief Executive Kevin Roberts will be visiting Pakistan from September 16-18. He said that the ECB chief executive and a director will visit in October.
The meeting further deliberated on the upcoming visit of the Sri Lankan cricket team to play an ODI and T20 series. The Sri Lankan cricket team will play cricket in Pakistan from September 27-October 9 in Pakistan.
The BoG recognised PCB’s efforts for revival of international cricket in Pakistan and ordered the cricket board to ensure excellent arrangements so that international cricket can once again come to the country.
In accordance with clause 41 of the PCB constitution, a three-member nominations committee was also constituted by the BoG.
The nomations committee will be responsible for the appointment of four independent directors to the BoG, Election commissioner, Deputy election commissioner and adjudicators.
