ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry has announced that Eid-ul-Azha shall be celebrated in Pakistan on July 31, 2020.
Taking to Twitter on Monday, Fawad Chaudhry said that moon of Zilhaj will be visible on July 23 through binoculars in Karachi and surrounding areas.
The minister further said that in some places the moon can even be sighted with naked eye.
“Ruet” App may also be used to ascertain exact location of the moon,” he added.
As per calender of @MinistryofST Eid-Al-Adha shall be celebrated on Fiday,31st July 2020. On 21st July ZeAlHaj moon shall be visible over Karachi and it’s peripheral areas, “Ruet”App may also be used to ascertain exact location of the moon. #Eid
