Emma Watson opens up about her five-year break from Hollywood

Emma Watson who started her acting career with the Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone as a child artist at the age of 10 has been working in the demanding American film industry ever since. She went on to be a part of Harry Potter franchise where she played Hermione Granger and later on worked in projects like he Perks of Being a Wallflower and My Week With Marilyn.

She however hasn’t been a part on any movie since 2017. The actress finally revealed the reason behind this long break and why is willing to wait.

The actress said, “The thing I found really hard was that I had to go out and sell something that I really didn’t have very much control over.”

Emma has been spending more time at her family-owned vineyards in the Chablis region of France.

Talking about her sabbatical and whether she wants to do another film, the 33-year-old actress said, “Absolutely, “But I’m happy to sit and wait for the next right thing. I love what I do.

The actress does have a project in the pipeline which she will began shooting for in 2024. Emma however didn’t divulge into any further details.
