ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Chairman Shabbar Zaidi said on Tuesday that the agency was looking to curb the under invoicing of imports.
He tweeted that the board would require the help of the business community and the chamber of commerce in this regard.
“FBR is seriously working to curb under invoicing of imports. Valuation system and processes are being improved.”
The FBR chair, however, requested the country’s business fraternity as well as the chambers of commerce to assist the organisation in working to stop the under-invoicing of imports.
