LAHORE: Five patients who were suspected of being infected with the novel coronavirus tested positive for the disease on Tuesday, according to Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar.
Taking to Twitter, Buzdar announced that those suffering from the infection were being provided excellent care.
“I can confirm that 5 suspected patients tested positive for #COVID19 in Punjab so far. We are providing best possible medical facilities, as per WHO guidelines, to suspected patients and Zaireen across province in 41 High Dependency Units and Quarantines,” he tweeted.

Confirmed cases in Sindh rise to 155
The number of confirmed coronavirus cases rose to 155 in Sindh after five more cases were reported in the province on Tuesday.
SIndh government spokesperson Murtaza Wahab in a tweet announced that in the province 36 cases have been tested positive for the virus, while 119 pilgrims from Iran quarantined in Sukkur have been tested positive for the disease.
The number of confirmed coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in Pakistan has now risen to 188 after the announcement of additional cases by Wahab.
