Flooded roads and power outages: Rains batter Karachi hard, make life miserable for citizens

KARACHI: Residents of Karachi bore the brunt of the torrential monsoon rain again as another spell of rain brought life to a standstill in the city.

Rains lashed Karachi on Tuesday, inundating roads, flooding streets, triggering power outages and leading to the overflowing of several gutters across the metropolis.
