Govt launches dedicated portal for coronaviurs updates

ISLAMABAD: The federal government has launched a dedicated website to keep masses updated about the statistics of coronavirus in real time.

The website can be accessed via link: www.covid.gov.pk.

According to the website, the number of people affected by the novel coronavirus has jumped to 447. Five people have already recovered from the disease while two have lost their life in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Sindh is the hard hit province with 245 cases, followed by Balochistan which has recorded 81 cases so far. Punjab has 78 while 23 people have tested positive in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

There are 12 cases in Gilgit Baltistan, seven in Islamabad and one in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
