ISLAMABAD: In a new reshuffle, Prime Minister Imran Khan replaced Food Minister Makhdoom Khusru Bakhtiyar with Fakhar Imam.
Bakhtiyar was made Federal Minister for Economic Affairs in place of Hammad Azhar who was given the portfolio of Industries and Production.
Azam Sawati made a comeback as Federal Minister for Narcotics Control while Babar Awan was named as Advisor for Parliamentary Affairs.
Mohammad Shahzad Arbab was removed as Advisor to PM.
In addition, resignation of Mr. Khalid Maqbool Siddique as Federal Minister has been accepted. Mr. Amin ul Haq made Federal Minister for Telecom.
Moreover, Mr. Hashim Popalzai removed as Secretary Ministry of National Food Security & Research. Mr. Omar Hameed transferred and appointed as Secretary Ministry of National Food Security & Research.
