Imran Khan says provided ‘irrefutable’ evidence of Indian state terrorism inside Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Saturday accused India of financing acts of terrorism inside Pakistan and urged the global community to force New Delhi into ending its terrorism.

In a series of tweets on Saturday, the PM said that Pakistan has provided irrefutable evidence of India’s state sponsored terrorism inside the country.

Details of financial and material support as well as Indian state’s direct involvement in terrorism have been placed in front of the world. In the face of this evidence, the world cannot remain indifferent or silent to Indian atrocities, he said.

Imran Khan said that Pakistan expects the international community to force India to end its terrorism and bring those responsible for taking thousands of innocent Pakistani lives to justice.

He said that in the face of Indian aggression, Pakistan’s resilient and courageous security forces will continue to go all out in protecting our people.

The PM concluded by saying that there should be no doubt that Pakistan will continue to defend itself with the nation’s combined resolve.

Earlier in the day, Director General (DG) of Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) revealed that India is providing weapons and financial assistance to terrorist and banned organizations to destabilize Pakistan.

Addressing a media briefing along with Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, he said that Indian embassies along Pakistan’s borders are hub for terrorist sponsorship against Pakistan as an Indian Colonel met four terrorists in Indian consulate in Afghanistan and encouraged them to hold terrorist acts in major cities of Pakistan, he said.

He also revealed that India provided billions of rupees and weapons from different sources to banned outfits in Pakistan and also smuggled 30 IS-linked terrorist to Pakistan.

He further said that India, in order to sabotage China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), raised a militia to carry out terrorist activities in Balochistan.
