Imran Khan’s special announcement today

Fawad Chaudhry Minister of information and broadcasting, posts on his twitter account that the Prime Minister Imran Khan will finally announce the nation’s position during the Russian/Ukrainian war crisis.

The address will take place at 6pm today the 28^th of February 2022.

Fawad Chuadry  mentioned that the nationwide address will give insight to the economic status of Pakistan and the global issues the country might face during the Russian/ Ukraine war.

Last week the Prime Minister visited Moscow for two days while Russian President Vladimir Putin officially declared war on Ukriane, as well as practicing an act of aggression on the country in between the Prime Minister’s visit.

Many lives were lost and as the Ukrainians closed their air space, many overseas Pakistani’s were left stranded around 1500 people including students.

The Minister for Information, Fawad Chuadry says the Prime minister will finally release a statement on the country’s status on the war.

The Federal Minister for Defense Pervez Khattak  also said that Imran Khan will also release relief packages for the nation and announce a decrease in petroleum and energy prices.

He said “The prime minister will address the nation shortly and announce Rs10 reduction in petroleum prices, and a Rs5 cut per unit in the electricity rates, along with several other measures,”  During a meeting in the Mumraiz area of Nowshera.
