ISPR’s ‘Ja Chor Day Meri Waadi’ strikes a chord with fans on social media

ISPR won the internet on Sunday as the latest song by the military’s media wing, Ja Chor Day Meri Waadi was a hit with fans on social media.

“In connection with Youm-e-Istehsal being observed on 5th August, the ISPR has released a new song,” read a post on Radio Pakistan. “Through this song a tribute has been paid to the brave people of Kashmir and their relentless struggle for freedom.”

The song has been sung by Shafqat Amanat Ali. The video was released on the same day, showcasing the struggle of the people of Kashmir for their rights.

The song beckons the world to listen to the grievances of the people of Kashmir and intervene to ensure India does not trample upon their rights. The chorus of the song is a proper reflection of the sentiments of the people of occupied Kashmir, who have been braving atrocities at the hands of the Indian Army for a year now.

Jaa Chor Day Meri Waadi,

Azaadi, Azaadi, Azaadi!
