Jiah Khan suicide case verdict to be announced tomorrow

A Mumbai court will be announcing the verdict on the infamous Jiah Khan suicide case tomorrow, April 28. The case involves actor Sooraj Pancholi, son of actor Aditya Pancholi and actress Zarina Wahab. The actor who was dating the late actress at that time was accused of abetment of suicide. Jiah Khan had committed suicide by hanging herself in 2013. She was found by her mother Rabia Khan who has been fighting the case ever since. The actress had left a suicide letter in her room which contained details of the couple’s relationship.

Sooraj was arrested by the police and was later released on bail. He was awaiting the release of debut film at that time. While the mother of Jiah Khan accused Sooraj and his parents for mistreating her daughter, Aditya Pancholi and his wife Zarina Wahab claimed that their son wasn’t involved in Jiah’s death.

Sooraj Pancholi’s career has taken a huge hit because of this case and he usually keeps a low profile. In an interview he had said, that he doesn’t know how he survived the last 8 years and his family’s support has been his life line.

Jiah Khan who made her debut in Ram Gopal Verma’s Nishabd (2007) opposite Amitabh Bachchan went on to star in films like Ghajini opposite Aamir Khan and Housefull.
