Khyber Pakhtunkhwa confirms seven new coronavirus cases

PESHAWAR: Seven new cases have been confirmed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in the last 24 hours.

According to data shared by the provincial health department on Twitter, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has now 32 cases,

“There was a big increase in suspected cases mostly because of the Zaireen that have arrived in D I Khan. 130 suspects have been cleared. Results of rest are awaited,” the health department said.

In Punjab, Chief Minister Usman Buzdar said that there will be partial lockdown for a period of 14 days starting from March 24. Sindh has already enforced a complete lockdown.

The federal government has called in army to assist the civil administration in ongoing efforts to contain the virus that has so far affected 805 people in Pakistan.
