Mathira blames TikToker for Minar-e-Pakistan incident
Pakistani model and TV host Mathira appears to have blamed TikToker Ayesha Akram for belling groped and molested by hundreds of men at Minar-e-Pakistan on the country’s independence day.
The incident, which was filmed and shared on social media, caused an uproar on social media, prompting federal and provincial governments to take strict notice.
Police have rounded up dozens of suspects who were said to be at Minar-e-Pakistan when the girl was harasser.
Several police officers were also suspended for negligence by the Punjab government.
Taking to Instagram, the controversial model said: “One bad fish can mess the whole damn some time.. cause of women like this real victims are not taken serious even. People thought I was being bad and rude I’m sorry I talk straight reality like it or leave but it’s bitter reality.”
