Mazari raises issues of Indian rights abuses, Islamophobia with EU representative

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Federal Human Rights Minister Dr Shireen Mazari met with EU’s Special Representative for Human Rights  Eamon Gilmore and raised issues of rights abuses by Indian security forces in occupied Kashmir.

The meeting took place in Geneva .

Dr Mazari also highlighted abuse of human rights of Muslims in India and talked about issue of Islamophobia in European Union.

Both the sides agreed to cooperate on human rights issue.

This bilateral meeting was held during 43rd Session of United Nations Human Rights Council which started today.
