Pakistan Army promotes six Maj Generals to Lt Generals

The Pakistan Army on Wednesday announced that six major generals were being promoted to the rank of lieutenant generals.

Taking to Twitter, the DG ISPR wrote: Promotions in the #Army : 6 Major Generals have been promoted to the Rank of Lieutenant General. Those promoted include MG Akhtar Nawaz , MG Sardar Hassan Azhar Hayat, MG Asif Ghafoor, MG Salman Fayyaz Ghani , MG Sarfraz Ali, MG Muhammad Ali.

Major General Asif Ghafoor, former DG ISPR, has also been promoted to the rank of lieutenant general.
