In news that is being welcomed across the country, the Pakistan Citizen Portal has become the most effective tool being used to redress people’s complaints. According to data, the complaint resolution percentage has been clocked in at an impressive 93.92 percent.
As per the portal’s data,1,653,045 complaints have been received so far from over 1.3 million registered members. Out of these 93.92 have originated from in-land while 5.74 percent from overseas Pakistani and 0.34 percent from foreigners.
The portal was established on instructions by Prime Minister Imran Khan to address the grievances of people and ensure a direct link between the government of Pakistan and citizens existed.
“While encouraging the people to utilize this facility, Prime Minister Imran Khan has also made it very clear that no leniency will shown to any government official who neglects his duty in addressing complaints reported on Citizen Portal,” read a post on Radio Pakistan.
