Pakistan Railways have announced five special trains that will operate during the upcoming Eid to accommodate the increased passengers. The first special train will have the start from Karachi and go till Peshawar, second will have the route of Quetta till Rawalpindi. Both these trains will leave operate on 18th April
On April 19th the third train will be enroute from Karachi to Lahore. The fourth train will leave from Rawalpindi and reach Quetta on April 26th and the last train will be operating between Lahore and Karachi on April 27th. This development has taken place as we see thousands of people travelling to different cities during the Eid holidays, some are looking to go back to their homes while other look to travel for leisure.
This announcement will come an air of respite for those wanting to travel during the Eid holidays. With the current economic condition of Pakistan, and the prices of air fares sky rocketing, more people will be looking for alternate routes to travel and train is a solution to the issue.
Recently there was news that Railway Administration took a strict action and sealed 56 shops that were operating illegally in the Lahore Cantonment Area.
