ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Friday recorded it’s single biggest daily jump in deaths from Coronavirus since the outbreak began with 50 more fatalities reported in the past 24 hours.
According to the latest figures presented by the National Command and Operation Center, at least 2,603 news cases have been reported in the past 24 hours, which is the biggest single day jump till date.
Sindh remains the worst-hit province by the pandemic followed by Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.
Till now there are 18,455 confirmed coronavirus cases in Punjab, 19,924 in Sindh, 7,155 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 3,074 in Balochistan, 13,26 in Islamabad, 602 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 158 in Azad Kashmir.
Pakistan now has 50,694 coronavirus cases , including 1067 deaths. In addition, 15,201 people have so far recovered from the disease.
According to the data, 2.1% of coronavirus patients have died so far in Pakistan.

Meanwhile, the federal government has decided to restore international flights from Bacha Khan International Airport, Peshawar.
The decision was taken by the Prime Minister Imran Khan on the special request of the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan during a meeting in Islamabad.
The Chief Minister while expressing gratitude to the Prime Minister said that the restoration of international flights from Bacha Khan International Airport will help minimize the hardships of the expatriates returning to their homeland.
