Pakistan records highest number of coronavirus cases since July 2020

The third wave of the novel coronavirus has reported huge numbers with the National Command and Centre Operation (NCOC) reporting 3,946 new cases of the novel coronavirus on Thursday.

For the first time in the past eight months, the country’s virus positivity rate has increased to over 10%.

Punjab has also seen an alarming increase in the number of cases as out of the 3,946 new cases reported, 2,571 new cases were reported in Pakistan’s largest province over the past 24 hours.
