ISLAMABAD: Pakistan reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases in the past two weeks, according to data available from the National Command and Operations Centre (NCOC).
On Thursday, the NCOC reported that 799 people tested positive for the virus, compared to 532 people who had contracted the infection on September 22.
If one were to look at the data from the NCOC, a gradual increase in the number of cases can be observed from September 10-24, in two weeks’ time.

As can be seen from the data above, Pakistan has recorded a steady uptick in the coronavirus cases ever since the government decided to reopen educational institutions, in phases, from September 15.
