Pakistan slashes oil prices

ISLAMABAD: The government has reduced the prices of petroleum products by up to Rs30 per litre to “extend maximum relief to public.”

According to an official notification issued by the Finance Division, the prices of petrol have been slashed by fifteen rupees and new prices will be 81.58 rupees.

The prices of High Speed Diesel have been decreased by 27.15 rupees and new prices will be 80.10 rupees whereas Light Diesel Oil prices have been slashed by fifteen rupees and new prices will be 47.51 rupees.

Similarly, kerosene oil prices have been reduced by 30.01 rupees and new prices will 47.44 rupees.

The new prices coming into effect from 1st May 2020 are as follows.
