Pakistan: Weekly weather outlook
Strong monsoon currents are penetrating in lower and upper parts of the country. A weak westerly wave is present over Northwestern parts of the country which is likely to strengthen on Wednesday.n

Tuesday Rain-thundershowers with gusty winds are expected in Sindh, South Balochistan, Islamabad, Upper Punjab, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhuwa and Kashmir. Rain-wind-thundershower are also expected in Central/Southern Punjab, Lower Khyber Pakhtunkhuwa and Gilgit-Baltistan.

Wednesday Rain-wind-thundershowers are expected in most districts of Islamabad, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhuwa and Kashmir. While heavy falls are also expected in Upper Punjab, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhuwa and Kashmir. More, rain-thundershowers are expected in Sindh and North Balochistan during the period.

Thursday Rain/wind-thundershowers are expected in Punjab, Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Northeast Balochistan and Sindh. Isolated heavy to very heavy falls are also expected in Upper Punjab and Kashmir.

Friday Mainly hot and humid weather is expected in most parts of the country. However rain/wind-thundershowers are expected in Upper Punjab, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, and Lower Sindh.

Saturday Mainly hot and dry weather is expected. However, rain/wind-thundershowers are expected in northeastern Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Kashmir. Isolated rain-thunderstorm are also expected in Sindh and Eastern Balochistan during the period.

Sunday Rain-thundershowers with Isolated heavy falls are expected in Sindh, eastern Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Kashmir.
31 August, 2020
Monday Mainly hot and dry weather is expected. However, rain-thundershowers are expected in Eastern Balochistan, South Punjab, Sindh and Kashmir.
