Pakistani celebrities have thrown their weight behind the government and Minister for Maritime Affairs, Ali Haider Zaidi, for his ‘Clean Karachi Campaign.
A host of celebrities took to Twitter to back efforts by the federal minister to clean the city and restore it to its original, hygienic condition.

The entire site is completely clean, walls painted & garbage bins have been placed accordingly!#LetsCleanKHI pic.twitter.com/UHy2gE70py— Ali Haider Zaidi (@AliHZaidiPTI) August 7, 2019
