ISLAMABAD: Federal Science Minister Fawad Chaudhry on Monday ruled out establishing diplomatic relations with Israel.
Taking to Twitter, Chaudhry said Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu were two sides of the same coin.
“All bullshit whats the difference in Modi and NetanYahu? They are Two sides of the same coin, why would you take trolls or Maulana Fazal Ur Rehman so seriously ? No Q of Ties with Israel,” Chaudhry tweeted in response to a Twitter user.
Pakistan has no direct or indirect diplomatic ties with Israel over its occupation of Palestinian territory.
Some noted Pakistani media commentators urged the PTI government to consider establishing ties with Israel after UAE and Bahrain conferred the Indian PM with highest civil awards amid Kashmir clampdown.
There has been no word from the government’s consider whether or not it has any plan to open diplomatic channels with the Israeli government.
