ISLAMABAD: PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz announced that she was hosting leaders of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) at her Raiwand residence to chalk out its next protest strategy.
Taking to Twitter on Monday, Maryam Nawaz said that PDM leaders would fine-tune their preparations for the long march, resignation and protests.
“Just got done with CWC, CEC and parliamentary meetings. Now on my way to Raiwind to receive all PDM leadership getting together over lunch to fine tune the Long March, resignations and protests,” Maryam tweeted.

This came a day after the PDM held its final anti-government protest at Minar-e-Pakistan in Lahore.
PDM chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman announced that opposition parties would march on Islamabad in late January or early February in their bid to oust Imran Khan from power.
The government’s ministers, however, termed the Sunday rally a flop show, saying the public has rejected the PDM’s narrative.
