Pilot safe after PAF training aircraft crashes in Attock

RAWALPINDI: A PAF training aircraft crashed in Pindigheb area in Attock District during a training mission, said a spokesperson on Tuesday.

The pilot ejected safely before the crash and no loss of life or property was reported at the crash site, according to a statement issued by the Air Force.

“A board of inquiry has been ordered to investigate the cause of the accident,” said the statement.

Earlier this year, PAF Wing Commander Noman Akram was martyred after an F-16 fighter jet he was flying crashed near Shakarparian in Islamabad.

The plane was carrying out routine exercises for the March 23 parade when it crashed, the air force had said then.
