PM Imran expected to unveil Karachi Circular Railway
KARACHI: Prime Minister Imran Khan is due to arrive in Karachi today in the aftermath of a record-breaking spell of monsoon rains which devastated the Sindh capital.
According to the Prime Minister’s Facebook page, Imran Khan has directed all bodies to work on Karachi’s transformation plan.
The PM is expected to unveil projects including Karachi Circular Railway (KCR), one of KTP’s mass transit systems and various mass transit system projects.
In addition, he will announce funds for sewerage projects, solid waste management projects, water drainage projects, and various road construction and repair projects.
