ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has accepted Special Assistant to the PM on Power and Petrolum Tabish Gauhar’s resignation.
Tabish Gauhar confirmed he had resigned from the post, tweeting about the development.
“After a year of public service, I’ve decided to call it a day to return to my family. It’s been the privilege of a lifetime to serve the country, to the best of my abilities, in an honorary capacity. I shall remain indebted to the PM for giving me this opportunity,” tweeted Tabish Gauhar.

As per news reports mostly published by Geo.tv and The News, Gauhar had decided to take the decision after he had spats with Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Ali Haider Zaidi.
