PM Imran Khan arrives in Lahore for one-day visit

LAHORE: Prime Minister Imran Khan arrived in the city Monday for a day-long visit, where he held a meeting with Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar. The two discussed the overall situation in Punjab.

As per reports, Sarwar congratulated the prime minister over the PTI’s recent victory in the Azad Kashmir polls.

Sarwar briefed the prime minister about the confidence that overseas Pakistanis have on the government’s policies, adding that as per his interactions, overseas Pakistanis have expressed a desire in investment opportunities concerning Pakistan.

The Punjab governor, during his meeting, praised the measures taken by the government to guarantee the safety and security of minorities in Pakistan. He also informed PM Imran Khan about the renovation work being undertaken to build the Hindu temple in Rahim Yar Khan’s Bhong village.
