PM Imran Khan to be tested for COVID-19 today

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will be tested for the novel coronavirus today, according to a report on Geo News.

Officials, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said that the test will be done under the supervision of Special Assistant to PM on Health Dr Faisal Sultan.

If the PM’s test result comes negative, he will chair the cabinet meeting in person on Thursday. Otherwise he will do it via video link.

The prime minister’s samples will be taken by a University of Health Sciences (UHS) team. It can take up to six or eight hours for the report to come back.
