PM Imran pays tribute to police and security personnel for thwarting PSX attack

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday paid tribute to police officers and security personnel for thwarting the Pakistan Stock Exchange attack in which four militants were gunned down and seven were injured while three security personnel were martyred.

Taking to Twitter, the prime minister paid tribute to the security personnel by posting their pictures and admiring their courage.

“I salute our brave police & security personnel who thwarted the condemnable terrorist attack in Karachi on #PakistanStockExchange.” he tweeted. 

COAS pays tribute to martyred security personnel

Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa has said that Pakistan will foil all efforts of enemies aimed at destabilizing hard earned peace achieved through sacrifices of our martyrs.

In a tweet on Monday after the terrorist attack on Pakistan Stock Exchange, General Bajwa paid glowing tributes to security guards  who sacrificed their lives as first responders vigilantly checking terrorists’ entry to PSX and foiling a major terrorist incident.

The Army Chief appreciated the Law Enforcing Agencies for their operational readiness and lauded prompt, effective and integrated response of Pak Rangers and Sindh Police, eliminating terrorists in shortest possible time.
