PM urges nation to stay home during coronavirus pandemic

Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has called up the nation to stay home as much as possible during coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

The prime minister took his micro-blogging website Twitter on Monday, advising people to adopt social distancing.

“My message for people is to stay home as much as possible during this pandemic. The more people show self-discipline, the easier it will be for us to manage the COVID19 plus ease the lockdown gradually,” PM Khan tweeted.

On Sunday, PM Khan said that 50,000 cases were expected until April 25.

“Now we can face difficulty from May 15 to 25. However, we are making full preparation to meet the challenge. God willing, our hospitals will control the situation,” Khan said.

He voiced his anger anger at people doing politics on coronavirus.

Imran Khan said that coronavirus would not be eliminated if the government concealed the cases. “If someone has doubt, he should check the tally from National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC),” he said.
