The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Tuesday warned of a heatwave in many parts of the country.
According to a tweet from the weather department, parts of Southern Punjab, Sindh and Balochistan will experience mainly dry and hot weather during this week.
The notification from the PMD said sub-mountainous regions across the country will also see a rise in temperatures.
In plain areas of the country, the temperature is expected to rise higher by 4 to 6 degrees.
