Punjab government announces summer vacation for schools

ISLAMABAD: Punjab Education Minister Murad Raas on Tuesday announced a month-long summer vacations for schools in the province.

Taking to Twitter, Murad Raas said that schools would remain shut from July 1 to August 1.

“In these times of vacation, my request to all the children and their families is to follow SOPs issued by the government,” he added.

The announcement came amid reports that NCOC was in favour of just two-week summer break from July 18.
