Sanjay Dutt diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer, to seek treatment in US
Bollywood superstar Sanjay Dutt announced on Tuesday that he was “taking a short break from work for medical treatment”as a leading Bollywood film critic, the actor has stage 3 lung cancer.
Today, Sanjay Dutt took to Twitter to announce that he is taking a break from the films for medical treatment and urged his fans not to worry or unnecessarily speculate.
“Hi friends, I am taking a short break from work for medical treatment. My family and friends are with me and I urge my well-wishers not to worry or unnecessarily speculate. With your love and good wishes, I will be back soon!” he tweeted.

A close friend of the actor, who remained anonymous, told an Indian website that the actor is ‘devastated’ and is worried about his children, who are in Dubai with his wife, Maanayata Dutt. The friend further stated that the cancer is curable but needs immediate and rigorous treatment. Hence, the actor will leave for the US for the treatment.
The actor was admitted to a hospital after he complained about breathlessness on August 8. Dutt was discharged from the hospital after his coronavirus test came back negative.
