Sindh govt issues new COVID-19 rules as coronavirus cases rise

KARACHI; The Government of Sindh on Monday introduced new coronavirus rules as cases of the infection continue to rise across the country and in Sindh as well.

A notification released by the provincial government said that markets, shopping malls and marriage halls will remain open from 6pm to 10pm.

Amusement parks will be closed by 6pm.

Indoor weddings will not be allowed, only outdoor weddings till 10:00pm with relevant SOPs in place. An upper limit of 300 persons will be allowed in the wedding only.

Cinemas, theatres, shrines, gyms and other indoor sports facilities have been closed.

A 50% work from home policy has been issue for government and private offices.
